Dead Winter Carpenters
Hailing from North Lake Tahoe, CA, Dead Winter Carpenters blends Americana roots-rock with a tinge of straightforward ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ Alt. Country to bring hard-hitting performances that are as edgy as they are whimsical. The band pushes and pulls at musical boundaries with top-notch, live performances while walking the line with unexpected musical flair. With an unbridled spirit, and an authentic approach to the art of songwriting, the experience of an evening with Dead Winter Carpenters epitomizes what live music is all about.

In January 2012, DWC paused for some time away from its relentless touring to record the music they had been refining through hundreds of shows on the road. With the success of a Kickstarter campaign, the band was able to spend time at renowned Prairie Sun Studios (clients of PS include Tom Waits, Paul McCartney, Arlo Guthrie). The band emerged from the studio with a new album titled, “ain’t it strange,”. The album was released in May 2012. This 10 song album captured the essence of the band’s ever-evolving sound.

Almost over year after the last recording and countless miles, DWC headed back into the studio over the summer of 2013 where they found pockets of time in between tours. After a few marathon sessions at Heavenly Tracks and with Matt Wright at the controls, the band has released a new 6 song EP titled “Dirt Nap”. The album presents a new look to the band with 5 part vocal harmonies and a fresh, expansive sound. After an exciting show in the Sierra Nevada foothills with pedal steel legend Pete Grant (Willie Nelson, Grateful Dead, and many others), the band asked Grant to play on the EP. Pete appears on Easy Sleep.

DWC has laid it all out for audiences at festivals to include High Sierra Music Festival and Strawberry Music Festival among others. The band has been relentlessly on the road playing for rooms at capacity throughout the west coast.

Deception Past
Finding influence in country music new and old, Deception Past brings a signature sound to the Northwest’s burgeoning country scene. Lead by the powerful vocal harmonies of brothers Andrew, Joseph and Tyler James Pettersson, the group combines fast-pickin’ guitars with bluegrass-infused melodies to create their own brand of country music. Hot off of back-to-back tours in 2012 and 2013, the band is set to release a new EP this spring. Catch them traveling throughout the Northwest in Lenora, their trusty E-350.

Left Coast Country
Left Coast Country is a northwest bluegrass and country band based in Portland, OR; who deliver both high-energy original compositions and an authentic take on traditional sounds stemming from Bill Monroe to Towns van Zandt. The live Left Coast Country experience encompasses a varied display of hard driving melodies coupled with five part harmonizing vocals that appeals to a wide ranging audience.
