Picoso
“The urban Latin flavor in Seattle is championed by Picoso. [they] are not afraid to stretch beyond what is comfortably known as Latin or world music. The vibe is urban and very street, without losing the relationship to the ancestor sound.”-KEXP

The Cumbieros
The Cumbieros are a Seattle based Chilean style Cumbia band that started in the spring of 2011 and have quickly grown into a 9 member multi-national band with 3 Chileans, 1 Brazilian and 7 U.S. people. Featuring such instruments as violin, accordion, guiro, guitar and horns, The Cumbieros fuse traditional Chilean style Cumbia with ska and rock creating fun, high-energy music that drives everyone to the dance floor. Cumbia is a genre of music/dance that originated in Colombia and is now extremely popular all across Latin America. The Cumbieros hope to spread the popularity of this music to the Pacific Northwest and beyond with one goal in mind; getting people on the dance floor. Come dance with us! ESO!!!

En Canto
En Canto brings you music as rich and varied as the people and places of Brazil: forró and baião from the northeast, bossa nova and choro from Rio, and sambas from every city and town. These lively, danceable rhythms and exotic melodies get everyone onto the dance floor, while the occasional slower tune (such as Tom Jobim’s “Falando de Amor”) evokes the romantic mood of saudade (longing). Led by Brazilian-born vocalist Adriana Giordano, this septet combines consummate musicianship with an infectious sense of fun and rhythm, delighting everyone from the discriminating jazz aficionado to the three-year-old who just wants to dance!
